WizKids, the creators of the hugely popular Mage Knight Rebellion collectible miniatures game (see 'December Product of the Month'), announced at GAMA this week that they are about to release a plastic carrying case that holds 48 Mage Knight miniatures. WizKids is planning to release the carrying case in May or June. The case should be of great use to the many gamers who participate in Mage Knight tournaments, though some will need more than one case to accommodate their extensive Mage Knight armies.
Mage Knight, the most exciting new product to emerge in the gaming marketplace during the past year, is a clever combination of pre-painted miniatures that come complete with their own power dials, a simple but flexible gaming system, and the packaging format of collectible card games, with rare miniatures mixed with commons in booster packs that players acquire to beef up their forces.
The new Mage Knight carrying case is decorated with striking Mage Knight art. It folds shut and includes a handle for easy carrying. The msrp will be in the $19.95 range, subject to adjustments for freight and customs costs. The cases have not yet been solicited by WizKids, though they will be soon. Check with your gaming distributor for the final details on this product.
