Konami Digital Entertainment will host its final 2013 Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event of 2013 in California on October 5– 6 at the San Mateo County Event Center in San Mateo, CA.
Pre-registration runs Friday, October 4th from 3 – 7pm, and offers registrants who submit a Deck list an event-exclusive YCS Token Card. Players will also receive five Judgment of Light booster packs.
The event will feature Dragon Duels for the younger players (born in 2001 or later) on Saturday and Sunday. A new event format is now in effect, where the winner of Saturday will play against the Sunday winner to determine the YCS Dragon Duel Champion.
The winner of the event will receive an Ultra Rare version of the Number 106: Giant Hand prize card, paid travel to a World Championship Qualifier (or if underage, winner and guardian), YCS Top Cut Game Mat, 500GB game console, and an invite to their 2014 World Championship Qualifier tournament.
Public events will include Regional Qualifiers, 3 vs. 3 Team Dueling, Attack of the Giant Card!!, Win-A-Mats, Super Starter: V for Victory Tournaments, and Sealed Pack Tournaments for Battle Pack 2: War of the Giants, featuring exclusive Starfoil prize cards only available at premier events.
