Pinnacle Entertainment Group is ending its distribution and marketing relationship with Fast Forward Games, and will resume handling those functions in-house effective immediately.  The relationship was announced a year ago (see 'Fast Forward and Pinnacle Form Alliance') with the expressed goal of taking the load of distribution from Pinnacle so that it could concentrate on creating games.  Fast Forward's VP-Sales and Marketing John Danovich said of the transition, 'We helped to take some of the day to day sales burden off of Pinnacle when they needed some extra help, and now they are in a position to take it back over for themselves.'   Both parties expressed best wishes for the other.

Fast Forward's John Danovich noted that Pinnacle's Savage Worlds has been doing well, and expressed the hope that it would continue to perform as Pinnacle takes over its own distribution.  Shane [Hensley] has a very strong new product in Savage Worlds, and we're happy that we could make the distribution on this product as good as it has been,' he said.  'Pinnacle has developed an amazingly dedicated clientele over the years, and it's unfortunate that many retailers have given up on the many game lines that Pinnacle has produced. I hope that Savage Worlds will open some eyes into the potential audience that is out there for the wonderful products Shane produces.'
