Goldbrick Games, which is just releasing its first game, Perpetual Commotion, has announced a variety of retail support programs and plans for a campus marketing program over the next year.
For retailers, Goldbrick has a limited coop advertising program, demo kits, co-sponsored tournament events, and a new retailer welcome kit all available now. A promotional DVD is planned for the fall.
Goldbrick also plans a consumer marketing program for key college markets, which will involve print ads, posters, and other on-campus advertising, orientation kits, and sponsored on-campus tournaments. According to a company spokesperson, the program will be rolled out regionally, targeting New England, Calfornia, and the Upper Midwest first. The program has been tested at two schools to date, with positive results.
