The Story Hat, developers of the new Dragon Booster property, has released ratings for the premiere showing of the animated series on ABC Family.  The program premiered on ABC Family in the 9:30 a.m. time slot on Saturday, October 23rd.  698,000 viewers saw the program, a 73% increase over the same time slot the previous year, and a 52% increase over the average of the time slot over the four preceding weeks.

Two additional licensees have also been announced.  Konami will be producing videogames and Hyperion has the book license.  These new licensees join Score, which will produce the CCG, the first product due out (see 'Score To Preview Dragon Booster CCG in San Diego'); Jakks, for toys; and FUNimation, for home video (see 'Dragon Booster Gets Licensed').

Dragon Booster is a unique property; it's been carefully developed for immediate exploitation in a large range of products (see 'The Origin of Dragon Booster').
