WizKids LLC and Wizard Entertainment will be partnering on a new series of HeroClix events.  The events will be held in four three-month cycles each year; the first three-month cycle will launch in February. 

Local events will be held at any WizKids-approved venue that registers for them, according to WizKids Communications Manager Jason Mical.  Winners at the local level move on to the next round.

Regional events will be held at a much shorter list of locations similar to those that hosted WizKids Holiday Premiere Events. 

Regional winners advance to a championship event held at a Wizard World convention.
