According to an announcement on Decipher's Website, the MegaMan and dot Hack TCGs 'will be taken out of production,' and the WARS TCG will be 'put on hiatus.'  Decipher had previously announced  two MegaMan TCG products for 2005 (see 'Decipher Announces MegaMan TCG:  Axess'); no dot Hack TCG products had been announced.  Decipher will continue organized play support for all three properties.

Unlike MegaMan and dot Hack, which seem to be gone forever, the WARS hiatus is apparently to give the company some time to sell the property for other uses.  'Decipher is in negotiations with potential partners in Hollywood that could lead to WARS becoming a much more substantial property than it is currently,' the announcement said.

That leaves Decipher with two TCG lines (Star Trek and Lord of the Rings) and the Lord of the Rings RPG (see 'Decipher to Continue LOTR RPG') as its only remaining game properties.  The company recently launched FLIcK, a free magazine to be distributed through movie theaters (see 'Decipher Announces Flick').
