Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone broke four box office records with its opening this weekend at $93.5 million.  Not only did that blow away the previous recordholder -- Jurassic Park -- by over $20 million, it also broke the best single day record three times over.  The movie opened on over 8200 screens, or one in every four screens nationwide.  Despite the strong showing by Harry, Monsters Inc. came in with a very respectable $23 million in its third weekend -- it's now grossed over $156 million in 17 days.  While pop culture retailers are looking forward to Lord of the Rings as the top sales-driver for the holidays (see 'Retailers Wary about Harry'), the pie is probably going to be big enough on Harry and Monsters products that sales of the WotC Harry Potter CCG, Topps Monsters Inc. Trading Cards  and other items less visible in mass market outlets will be respectable if not outstanding in mom and pops.
