WizKids has announced that it will release Mage Knight Unlimited Starters and Boosters in March 2002, replacing its Rebellion and Lancers lines.  Rebellion was the line that started it all last December (see 'December Product of the Month') and it's been continuously on our bestseller list (see 'Top 10 Cool Games') ever since, an 11-month record.  Lancers was launched in May, and has also appeared on the Top 10 Cool Games bestseller list ever month since its release.  Among the 160 figures in the Unlimited series will be a mix of the Rebellion and Lancers sets, with 24 resculpts (using the same stats as before), plus sixteen brand-new figures with new game stats.

Boosters

Each Mage Knight Unlimited Starters pack will contain 10 figures, a rulebook, a full-color Special Abilities card, a redone comic providing backstory on the world, two dice, a ruler, and 10 ID stickers.  Each Unlimited Booster will contain five figures, 1 randomly inserted foil-stamped Legends and Lore card, and five ID stickers.  The Boosters will feature four different art pieces as box art.

As additional elements for the Mage Knight product line, WizKids will introduce a Castle Tower at $24.95, Castle Walls at $17.95, and Castle Custom Walls at $19.95 in March.  The Castle Tower will come boxed, and the Walls and Custom Walls will be blister packed.  All will include combat dials.

WizKids has also announced a product that will be released in April or beyond.  Mage Knights Campaigns will be a $9.95 48-page rule book containing complete rules for playing large-scale Mage Knight battles with armies running from hundreds of points per side to truly epic games of thousands of points.  The book will also include scenarios, tournament structure outline, castle designs, campaign rules, fear rules, info on flying figures, and an illustrated introduction.
