Mayfair Games has announced the October release of Elk Fest, a fast-moving game for two players ages 6 and up designed by Herman Huber.  Two elk (Jule and Ole) stare at each other across a river longing for the greener grass on the other bank.  Players move their elk to the opposite bank by flicking wooden disks across the river and balancing their elk on them.  The first one to greener pastures is the winner.
