Once again, the Author chart is dominated by webtoons and manhwa, with all six volumes of Solo Leveling on the chart, plus a handful of other manhwa. All three hardcover volumes of Lore Olympus make the Top 20, but the highest placed volume of that series is the paperback edition of Volume 1, which is a reversal of the usual pattern for that book.
One new title of note is Stuff of Nightmares: The Monster Makers, R.L. Stine’s first work for adults.

DC Comics dominates the Superhero chart, with 16 titles in the Top 20. There were a couple of new Batman titles in April, as well as two new editions and two deluxe editions. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin continues to be the top selling Superhero title in the book channel, and the sole Marvel title is not published by Marvel, it’s the Penguin Classics edition of The Amazing Spider-Man.
