Jakks has revealed details of its first series of Universal Classic Monsters (see 'Jakks Pacific Has A 'Stake' In Van Helsing'), due out in January/February 2004.  It will include three of the most popular characters in the pantheon, Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman.  Each of them will include background accessories and elaborate sculpts and paint detail.

Dracula (6' tall), accompanied by his rat and bat friends, comes with his well-known black and red cape, and has his earth box to escape to when nighttime ends.

Frankenstein (7' tall) comes chained to a dungeon chair, but these breakaway chains can't keep a good 'man' (?) down for long.

Wolfman (6' tall) comes with an extra head, hands, and feet so he can return to his human (not quite so hairy) identity of Larry (Lon Chaney) Talbot when the sun comes out.

MSRP will be $14.99.  Addition figures in the series will be released next spring.
