The New York Anime Festival has announced that Unicorn Table, HappyFunSmile, and Voltaire will all perform at the inaugural New York Anime Festival (NYAF), which will be held a the Jacob Javits Center in New York from December 7th-9th.  Unicorn Table is a duo formed by J-Pop veterans Salia and shin-go.  As Unicorn Table they provided 'Fly Away,' the theme song for the Jinki Extend anime series (distributed in the U.S. by ADV) as well as 'Closer,' 'Distant Love,' 'Infinity,' and 'Amai Yume' for School Rumble (FUNimation).

 

HappyFunSmile is a New York-based group founded by Wynn Yamami.  HappyFunSmile performs an eclectic mix of Okinawan pop and electric folksongs.  Voltaire, the author of Oh My Goth! and Paint it Black: A Guide to Gothic Homecoming, mixes murder ballads with savagely satirical songs about Star Trek and Star Wars guaranteed to appeal to the baser instincts of convention goers.
