The 24-episode Speedgrapher anime series will make its debut on the Independent Film Channel this coming Friday night at 11 pm (ET).  The IFC has been airing uncut versions of adult-oriented anime series such as Samurai Seven.  Like Samurai Seven, Speedgrapher was produced by Gonzo and distributed in the U.S. by FUNimation Entertainment.

Speedgrapher is a seinen (older teen males and up) anime that mixes social criticism of Japan's capitalistic elites with plenty of kinky elements by following the adventures of a news photographer who investigates a "fetish" club for the ultra wealthy and unexpectedly receives the power to destroy whatever he is photographing--which comes in very handy as he is about to be killed by sinister forces protecting the secrets of the club.

FUNimation is releasing the Speedgrapher: Box Set (MSRP $69.98) on Tuesday, March 11th.
