Saishin Anime Joho is reporting (via Anime News Network) that Toei Animation has announced the production of two theatrical anime features based on its 2000 TV anime Mushrambo.  The 32-episode Mushrambo is a shonen science fiction series that is currently being shown on the Toon Disney, where it is known as Shinzo.

Kenji Nakamura (Ayakashi-Samurai Horror Tales) is supervising the "renewal" of the TV series in the form of two 90-minute movies that recount the story of a cryogenically-preserved human female who attempts to make peace with the artificially-created race that did away with its human creators.
