Bandai Entertainment and NCM Fathom have announced that Sword of the Stranger (see “Bandai’s Sword of the Stranger”) will be shown in 360 theaters nationwide in a special one-night event on February 5th.  In addition to the film, which will be digitally distributed in high definition by NCM Fathom, theater-goers will see an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the film at Studio Bones, as well as interviews with the English voice actors, director Masahiro Ando, and producer Mashiko Minami. 

Sword of the Stranger is one of two anime features submitted for Oscar consideration for best animated feature (see “Fourteen Animated Oscar Submissions”).
