Longtime TV and movie star (and frequent comic convention attendee) David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok on Thursday, according to wire service reports. Carradine was in Bangkok shooting Stretch. He was found hanging in his closet, but no official cause of death has been released.
Carradine came to fame as the star of Kung Fu in the early 70s, probably the first exposure to Asian martial arts for many Americans. More recently he became famous to a new generation of fans in the two Kill Bill films by Quentin Tarantino.
