Framelight Productions has acquired feature film, video game, merchandise, and comic book rights to veteran comic book scribe, Chuck Dixon’s latest project, Sword of Wood, an unpublished adventure comic set in the Middle Ages that combines historical medieval combat with a powerful dark fantasy vampire saga.
The protagonist of Sword of Wood, Viktor deHaxxen is a knight and nobleman who returns from fighting in the first crusade only to find that a band of vampires has raided his castle and carried off his wife and family.
Framelight Productions was founded by entrepreneur Robert L. Robinson, Jr. and film production executive Jeffrey D. Erb in 2008. The company has optioned numerous comic book properties. Robinson and Erb’s production credits include six feature films.
