Here's an "R" rated trailer for Marcus Nispel's Conan the Barbarian and it earns its "R" with plenty of  squirting blood and lopped heads.  Ron Perlman explains the mayhem  very succinctly, "When a Cimmerian feels thirst, it is the thirst for blood."  This trailer is intended for viewing only by those who are 17 and older.

Conan the Barbarian, which stars Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones), Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, Said Taghmoui, Leo Howard,  Raad Rawi, Bob Sapp and Milton Welsh, opens in 3-D in the U.S. on August 19.
