The long-awaited first trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has now been released onto the Internet.  It features major presences from Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, and singing dwarves.  This is the trailer that will be seen in theaters at showings of The Adventures of Tintin beginning this weekend (see “First ‘Hobbit’ Trailer Before ‘Tintin’”).  The image accompanying this article is a new one, released this week, of Bilbo Baggins.
