Comic-Con News:  At the panel for the CW’s new Arrow TV series, which is based on DC’s Green Arrow comic, it was announced that Kelly Hu, who played opposite Sammo Hung in the late lamented CBS series Martial Law and Lady Deathstrike in X2: X-Men United, will portray the villainous drug dealer China White in a guest star appearance on the CW’s Arrow.

China White is a major heroin trafficker, who made her initial appearance in the 2007 Green Arrow miniseries Green Arrow: Year One by Andy Diggle and Jock.  She leads a major South Pacific drug cartel and will likely prove to be a formidable foe for Oliver Queen (Stephen Arnell) in the CW series that debuts this fall.

Hu, a former model herself, joins (if only temporarily) a cast that includes a couple of other stunning young actresses, Katie Cassidy and Willa Holland (see "TV's Green Arrow Finds His Black Canary").
