Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation, Zero Dark Thirty) is being cast to play Star-Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film, according to Hollywood Reporter. The film will be directed by James Gunn (see "Marvel Eyeing James Gunn to Helm 'Guardians'") and is set for an August 1, 2014 release.
