Game of Thrones set another new ratings record on Sunday, with 4.9 million viewers for its initial showing at 9 p.m.  The series began setting new records with its first episode of the season, which drew 4.4 million viewers (see "'Dead,' 'Thrones' Set Records"), and appears to be gaining momentum as the season progresses.

The season premiere also set a record for biggest BitTorrent swarm (see "'Game of Thrones' Breaks BitTorrent Swarm Record"), showing that increasing numbers of both legal and illegal viewers are following the show.
