Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters, will appear in X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer tweeted today. 

The character appears to be gaining prominence in the Marvel movie pantheon; Joss Whedon confirmed at the ABC upfronts that the character would also appear in Avengers 2 (see "Whedon Confirms Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in 'Avengers 2'").

Peters played "Todd" in Kick-Ass, and has had a recurring role in American Horror Story.
