The first Sin City: A Dame to Kill For trailer may technically be safe for work, but there’s a lot of Jessica Alba bump-and-grind setting the tone for the Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller-directed noir thriller.
Alba reprises her role as Nancy Callahan, as will Rosario Dawson (Gail), Jamie King (Goldie/Wendy), Bruce Willis (John Hartigan) and Mickey Rourke (Marv). New actors will be playing Miho (Jamie Chung), and Manute (Dennis Haysbert), and Lady Gaga will be making a second cameo (see "Lady Gaga in 'Sin City 2'").
The Weinstein Company hopes to turn Sin City into a TV show after the movie (see "'Sin City' TV Show").
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will hit theaters on August 22nd. Dark Horse has a publishing program with two new tie-in editions of the comics and an "art of" book this summer to capitalize on the movie (see "Dark Horse's 'Sin City' Publishing Program").
