20th Century Fox has announced actor Toby Kebbell for the role of Victor von Doom in its new Fantastic Four reboot, according to Variety.
The heroes have been cast (see "'Fantastic Four' Cast"), and like those choices, Fox appears to be banking on elevating relative unknowns to major roles for the reboot. Kebbell’s resume has a lot of supporting roles in geek-friendly films including Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time, Wrath of Titans, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He’s also got an unnamed role in the currently filming Warcraft (see "'WoW' Movie Gets Release Date").
The Fantastic Four will open June 19, 2015, and Fox is already showing faith by claiming a date for a sequel in 2017 (see "Fox Claims Dates for 'FF' & 'Wolverine' Sequels").
