Confirming what we’ve been seeing in the interest in articles on our site, moviegoers in a poll conducted by movie ticket seller Fandango selected Star Wars: The Force Awakens as the #1 most-anticipated film of 2015, topping Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to Variety. While the annual poll does not always accurately predict box office revenue (or interest in the associated products), it’s one indication that in a year of big blockbusters, even the biggest films have competition.
