Now that the Reverse Flash has made his TV debut, artist John Gallagher has unveiled some of the concept art sketches that he made for the arch villain/alter ego facing Barry Allen’s Flash. Spoiler Alert, if you haven’t been watching The Flash TV series or missed the December episode entitled, “The Man in the Yellow Suit,” you may not want to read further. But for those of us who are aware of the series’ latest developments, there is little doubt that Gallagher's concept art comes pretty close to matching what appeared on screen (see "First Look at Reverse Flash") when the Reverse Flash was apparently revealed to be Dr. Harrison Wells, the head of S.T.A.R. Labs, who is played on the series by Tom Cavanagh.
Of course the identity of the Reverse Flash might not be quite as simple as it first appears. The protean Dr. Harrison Wells may not be the total answer to the question, who is the Reverse Flash? However the struggle between The Flash and Reverse Flash twists and turns, there is little doubt that the Reverse Flash has injected a major dose of energy into the series, which posted its highest rating (save for its premiere episode) of the season so far with "The Man in the Yellow Suit" episode, which even outdrew the "Flash vs. Arrow" crossover installment.
