Marvel has announced Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars for May.
With story and art by the Deadpool Killustrated team of Cullen Bunn and Matteo Lolli, the Merc with the Mouth shows up for the wrong crossover for his Warzones! tie-in (see "'Warzones!' The Final 'Secret Wars' Umbrella Brand"). Instead of showing up on Battleworld, Wade Wilson decides to time travel back to the original 1984 Secret Wars and rewrite the historical Marvel event to include himself, much like he did last October with a run of variant covers (see "'Deadpool' Anniversary Variants in October").
"When Deadpool introduces himself to the other heroes, most of them have no idea who he is," Bunn said. "At least, most of them are unwilling to admit that they know him! As the battle between good and evil commences, Deadpool gets plenty of opportunities to annoy the hell out of every major hero and villain in the Marvel Universe before the festivities are done!"
