Dynamite Entertainment has announced a new alliance with The Brewing Factory, the creative, design, franchise development, and brand management consulting company headed by Georg Brewer, former DC VP of Design & Product Development responsible for DC Direct. The first products released under the new partnership will be a line of female character statues, Women of Dynamite, inspired by J. Scott Campbell artwork.
The first Women of Dynamite release will be a Vampirella statue inspired by Campbell art and sculpted by Jason Smith, due out in June.
Brewer founded The Brewing Factory LLC in 2011, and has created Collectors Editions items for the video game industry and premiums for Star Wars Celebrations. He’s also involved with a variety of upcoming animated series.
Brewer expressed his feelings about the deal. "Working with Nick and Joe at Dynamite, and their talented comics creators, has been a blast," he said. "...[A]long with sculptor Jason Smith, we are creating an amazing line of statues."
Products in a number of three-dimensional categories are planned, including collectible statues and toys.
