Dark Horse Books has announced the November 4 (direct market) and November 17 (bookstore and mass market) release of World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1 ($39.99), a 184-page, full color, 9" x 12" hardcover that reveals scads of untold stories about the forces that shaped (and continue to shape) Azeroth. The volume concentrates on the early history of Azeroth, detailing the birth of the cosmos, the rise of ancient empires that ruled long before the Horde and the Alliance.
This must-read companion to the Warcraft universe is full of never-before-revealed secrets of the setting of the most popular MMORPG of them all. Featuring over twenty pages of original WoW art by fan-favorite Pat Lee, this volume is the first book in a series that reveals the rich lore of the Warcraft universe from the distant past to the modern era.
A World of Warcraft movie is currently in production for a June 2016 release, and a few images have been released including that of an Orgrim (see "Geek Movie News Round-Up").
