Sasquatch Game Studio’s new Primeval Thule 5e will release to trade in November. The game is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.

Primeval Thule is a sword and sandals fantasy campaign setting, designed by industry veterans Richard Baker, David Noonan, and Stephen Shubert.  The setting is inspired by the tales of Robert E. Howard’s Conan and H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu.  The game was originally released in 2013, and was designed to be compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition (see “Sasquatch Launches With ‘Primeval Thule’”). Sasquatch Game Studio recently partnered with Wizards of the Coast to produce the Dungeons & Dragons: Elemental Evil adventure Princes of The Apocalypse (see “'D&D: Elemental Evil'”).

Work on the new Primeval Thule edition includes the results of collaboration with other well-known fantasy RPG writers Ed Greenwood and Todd Lockwood, among others. The setting has been redesigned to be compatible with the fifth edition of Dungeon & Dragons.

The 272-page full color Campaign Setting book includes new character backgrounds designed specifically for the setting, rules for playing Atlanteans, a poster map and atlas of the world, as well as monsters and villains to flesh out the campaign.  MSRP is $49.95. Sasquatch told ICv2 the game will be released to trade sometime in November, after backer fulfillment.
