DC Comics is priming the pump with two winter releases that feature characters and themes from the upcoming Warner Bros. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice film.  Batman Vs. Superman releases in December, and Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinity Deluxe Edition HC will release in January.

The Batman Vs. Superman 160-page trade paperback collects some of the duo’s most memorable clashes written by Frank Miller, Jeph Loeb, Scott Snyder, Mark Verheiden, Joe Kelly and Geoff Johns.

Stories include: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #4, Batman #612, Batman #35 -36,Superman/Batman #32 and #78, and Justice League #2.  Artists include Frank Miller, Klaus Janson, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Greg Capullo, Matthew Clark and Ed Benes. The collection releases on December 2.  MSRP is $9.99.

Releasing January 13 is the deluxe hardcover collection of Matt Wagner’s 2003 three-issue epic Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinity. The series unites the three great heroes when Ra’s al Ghul teams up with Bizarro and a renegade Amazon warrior to create global chaos by simultaneously destroying satellite communication and the world’s oil reserves.  The 208-page hardcover has an MSRP of $29.99.
