Dave Marshall has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Dark Horse Comics, the company announced. Marshall takes over from Scott Allie, who’s moving to a new position as Executive Senior Editor. Dark Horse Publisher Mike Richardson elaborated on Allie’s new role. “Scott will refocus his efforts as executive senior editor to do what he does best: serve as one of the best editors in the business, while helping to curate and develop new content,” he said. Allie had been serving as Editor-in-Chief since October of 2012, when he was promoted from Senior Managing Editor.
Dark Horse also made two other changes in editorial positons. Freddye Millar was promoted from Editorial Coordinator to Editor, and former Comic Book Resources guest contributor and Candlewick Press sales assistant Cardner Clark has been hired as Assistant Editor.
