Konami Digital Entertainment will host its next Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series event in San Jose, CA on November 7 -8 at Parkside Hall.  This will be the last North American YCS of 2015.

With the recent release of High-Speed Riders (see "New Special Booster Announced for 'Yu-Gi-Oh!'") and the upcoming Dimension of Chaos (see "Konami Announces Core Booster and Structure Deck For 'YGO'") booster sets, Duelists will be able to  live-test new strategies and decks.  Pre-registration runs Friday, November 6 from 3 - 7pm, and players will receive five Dimension of Chaos booster packs.

The winner of the event will receive an Ultra Rare version of the "Minerva, the Exalted Lightsworn" prize card, trophy, paid travel to their World Championship Qualifier (if underage, then winner and guardian), YCS Top Cut Game Mat, PlayStation 4, and an invite to their 2016 World Championship Qualifier tournament.

The event will feature Dragon Duels for the younger players (born 2003 or later) on Saturday and Sunday.  The tournaments will be sealed, with each Duelist using ten sealed Battle Pack: Epic Dawn packs to make a new Deck.  The winner of Saturday will play against the Sunday winner to determine the YCS Dragon Duel Champion.  The top four finishers in the Dragon Duel events will receive winners’ medals, a Regional Deck Box, and a 2016 Regional Game Mat.  The top-ranked finishers will also win an invitation to their 2016 Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier.

In addition to the Beta Format Win-A-Mat, Public Events will include 2016 Regional Qualifiers, Ultimate Duelist Series Qualifiers, 3 vs. 3 Team Dueling, Attack of the Giant Card!!, Starter Deck and Structure Deck, Duelist League, Tag Dueling, Yu-Gi-Oh! Day and Battle City Tournaments held throughout the weekend.

Konami launched its new year-round Ultimate Duelist Series (UDS) tournament program this summer (see "'Yu-Gi-Oh!' Begins Year-Round Competitive Play").
