Drover’s (WarQuest, Empires: Age of Discovery) newest game is a two-player tactical strategy game, where one player takes the role of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the other controls Great Britain and the other allied nations attempting to stop Napoleon’s military domination of Europe. The game encompasses the entirety of the Napoleonic Wars, as players navigate the strategic level map of Europe from 1800 -1818 using six scenarios with different stating conditions and  over 200 ‘Event Cards’ illustrated by  well known Napoleonic artist Keith Rocco.   There are two tactical battle systems: a ‘fast-play’ and a more in-depth battle version.

The Kickstarter has raised more than $29,000 from nearly 250 backers, very near its $30,000 goal, and has 14 days remaining. The Kickstarter features two versions of the game: a standard version, and a premium edition which includes over 300 custom meeples. It also features a solo PC version of the game where a player faces an AI opponent.  Backer fulfillment is planned for April.

Electric Games will release the standard version to trade in Q2, with an MSRP around $100.00.
