Konami is holding an official 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! Day event, scheduled for January 30 and 31, celebrating the game and the brand in Official Tournament Stores. The goal of this event is to draw attention to Official Tournament Stores with exclusive prizes only available at this event.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Day prizes can be won by players competing in an Advanced Format, Constructed Deck tournament with an entry fee of $5.00. The event will be run in Swiss-round format, with all Top 8 competitors receiving a Yu-Gi-Oh! Day exclusive Super Rare Token Card, and other prizes commensurate with the entry fee. In addition, the winner will receive an exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! Day full size game mat. These prizes are only available in Official Tournament Stores during the 2016 Yu-Gi-Oh! Day event.
