Artana has announced an expansion for its popular game of electric luminaries Tesla Vs. Edison. Tesla Vs. Edison: Powering Up will release in Fall 2016.
Designed by Dirk Knemeyer, the expansion will include player mats and HQ cards that enable companies to build out labs, works, offices, and studios to further specialize activities. A new historical event deck presents calamities and opportunities for deeper strategic play. A streamlined stock market requires players to focus on building a powerful empire, and an updated scoring system rewards company performance as well as shrewd investment
There is a new solitaire play mode and additional inventor, Madame C.J. Walker, which expands games to six players.
MSRP was not announced.
Artana debuted last year at Gen Con with Tesla vs. Edison and announcement of plans to release Chronicles: Origins, a new immersive tabletop game system co-designed with Legacy designer Rob Daviau (see "Rob Daviau's 'Legacy' System for Civilization Games").
