Tasty Minstrel Games is releasing two new games this summer, Guilds of London and Downfall.
Guilds of London is a tile-laying game where players vie for the control of various guilds running the city, each player hoping to earn the title Lord Mayor of London. Designed by Tony Boydell (Snowdonia), the game combines tile-laying with multifaceted cards that have numerous functions.
Guilds of London plays 2 – 4 players in 45 – 90 minutes. It includes 40 Guild Tiles, 2 Guildhall Tiles, 5 Special Building Tiles, 1 Plantation Tile, 1 Double-sided Scoreboard, 64 Liveryman Pawns, 8 Player markers, 1 Round marker, 8 Neutral Liveryman Pawns, 1 Beadle Piece, 31 tokens, 105 Action Cards, 21 Mayoral Rewards Cards, a rulebook, and a reference sheet. It arrives in stores in August. MSRP is $59.95.
It includes 55 hexagon board pieces, 175 cards, 6 player aids, 6 player mats, 6 Passing Cards 140 Resource pieces, 30 Bunkers, 36 Airships, 54 Outposts, 84 Survivor tokens, 42 Command tokens, 40 Radiation tokens, 28 Dead Zones, 2 Event Track boards, 2 Event Track markers, a rulebook, and a scoreboard. It plays 3 – 6 players in 90 – 180 minutes.
Tasty Minstrel expects to have Downfall available at Gen Con, and in stores in October. MSRP is $69.95.
