Warner Bros. announced plans for an interconnected Hanna-Barbera movie universe at CinemaCon, /Film is reporting.

The announcement came with the title of the upcoming Scooby-Doo movie title, S.C.O.O.B., whith representatives stating it will be the first in a wave of potentially overlapping Hanna-Barbara films. According to the article, S.C.O.O.B. will be “our first shot at unlocking the whole Hanna-Barbera Universe.”

It won’t exactly be the first time The Flintstones meet The Jetsons. DC Comics just announced a series of Hanna-Barbera comics which includes a cross-over Future Quest title (see “DC to Launch New Hanna-Barbera Line”). However, the Warner Animation Group has announced its brain trust, which includes Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Nicholas Stoller, Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, and Jared Stern, will be put to the task of parsing the characters’ disparate universes together, similar to what they did in The Lego Movie.

S.C.O.O.B.  will release in theaters on September 21, 2018 (see “Best in Shows--Q3 2018”).
