F2Z Entertainment, publishing parent of Z-Man games, is hosting a new season of Pandemic Survival, its tournament season for the best-selling Pandemic board game (see "Top 10 Hobby Channel Board Games--Fall 2015”").
Tournaments will be held in 25 countries this year, all leading to the 2016 Pandemic Survival World Championship held in Barcelona, Spain on December 17. Like last year, the winning team will win an "airlift" trip to any city listed on the Pandemic board. Last year’s winners chose Seoul, South Korea as their destination.
Pandemic Survival is an extreme version of Pandemic where teams of two players face other teams simultaneously, all with the same objective in mind: be the first team to find all four cures or be the sole survivor of the game. Each group of teams faces same starting situation which is designed for the tournament: identical roles, infected cities, and the same player cards listed in the same.
The winning team of these preliminary tournaments win a spot to appear in the U.S. National Final at Gen Con.
Stores interested in hosting a preliminary tournament can contact Kalinda Patton at F2Z Entertainment.
