Sabertooth Games has announced a November release for its second collectible card game set in the Warhammer 40K universe. The Horus Heresy CCG takes place at the end of golden age of the Imperium, when the seeds of discord were sown and brother began to fight brother as the stage was set for the biggest event in the Warhammer 40K universe. The Horus Heresy card series includes 150 new cards featuring high caliber art by some of the key artistic creators of the Warhammer 40K world such as John Blanche, Dave Gallagher, and Adrian Smith. The cards present an unprecedented look at the pre-heresy world of Warhammer 40,000 and set the stage for the betrayal of the Emperor by Horus, which unleashes the conflict between Chaos and Empire (see 'Sabertooth Plans Warhammer 40K Second Edition').
The Horus Heresy: Leave No Survivors Starter Decks include 65 cards and have a suggested retail price of $12.99. The decks are packed in 10-deck displays, while the booster packs come in 40-pack displays. Each booster pack contains 9 cards plus 1 bonus Gold Piece Card for a total of ten cards per pack. The retail price per booster pack is $2.99.
