David F. Walker’s acclaimed run on Chicago’s dark protector Nighthawk will be collected and released on January 10, from Marvel Comics.

As a serial killer takes out some of the worst predators in Chicago, Nighthawk must consider whether the killer deserves to be caught. Nighthawk: Hate Makes Hate collects issues #1 - #6 of the acclaimed series, which was penciled by Ramon Villalobos and Martin Morazzo. The 136-page, full color trade paperback features a cover by Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz. MSRP is $17.99.

Nighthawk: Hate Makes Hate collects the entirety of the Walker’s run with the character. The well-reviewed series was cancelled after issue #6, causing some outcry among fans. In an August 27 tweetstorm, Walker addressed the cancellation, noting that while “Marvel has been very supportive of Nighthawk… the market is not supporting the book.” Walker also asserted that Marvel wanted to see more of the character in the future.
