Marvel is bringing fans the next generation of mutantkind in a Generation X ongoing as part of the ResurrXion initiative.
Writer Christina Strain (Runaways, Civil War II: Choosing Sides) and artist Amilcar Pinna (Astonishing X-Men, All-New Ultimates) center their story on Jubilee, who finds herself leading a class full of outcasts in a school for outcasts. She isn’t ready to give up on the underdogs at the Xavier Institute, but some mutants aren’t X-Men material.
A specific release date for the first issue hasn’t been announced, but it is due in Spring 2017.
Generation X is one of several new ResurrXion titles spinning out of the events of Inhumans Vs. X-Men (see "X-Men Return To A Brighter Universe"). Just this week, Marvel also revealed details of their flagship X-Men Blue and X-Men Gold series (see "'X-Men Gold' and 'X-Men Blue' Revealed"), and of the new Iceman ongoing (see "Marvel Reveals Details for New 'Iceman'").
