Dynamite Entertainment has acquired rights to produce comics based on Lionsgate’s action-packed revenge thriller John Wick (starring Keanu Reeves). The first John Wick film was released in 2014 to better-than-expected box office response and positive reviews (see "Keanu Reeves' 'John Wick' a Strong Second"), and a second, John Wick: Chapter Two, will premiere February 10, 2017.
The comics will tell all-new stories based on the franchise, which Dynamite CEO described as "...an exciting film, mixing martial arts action with snappy dialogue and smart writing."
