Monte Cook Games is offering a new sourcebook titled Cypher System: Expanded Worlds, expanding their multi-genre capable Cypher System Rulebook with even more options.
The original Cypher System Rulebook was released in 2015, putting the rules of MCG's Numenera and The Strange in one volume and offering options for playing campaigns of wildly different genres (see "'The Cypher System Rulebook'"); the new sourcebook builds on these genre rules. In addition, it includes specific sections on numerous genres, including noir, post-apocalyptic, hard sci-fi, fairy tale, and more. It includes new descriptors, foci, equipment, creatures, NPCs, and other character options applicable for any Cypher System campaign.
Cypher System: Expanded Worlds is a 160-page hardcover. It will be available in April, and usable for Cypher Play Season 2 (see "Monte Cook Games Launches Organized Play"). MSRP is $44.99.
