Nate Murray, who’s been a product manager at IDW since 2012, has joined Indiegogo as Head of Gaming, the company announced. In that role, Murray will lead the gaming team and work with companies or individuals running game campaigns on strategy and development.
Murray has worked in the IDW Games division for over four years, where his duties included spearheading Kickstarter campaigns for such titles as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles board game ($862,211 from 6,033 backers).
Indiegogo not only has its core crowdfunding functions, it has also added InDemand, which allows campaigns to continue to accept pre-orders beyond the end of the campaign; Marketplace, storefronts that allow campaigns to take orders for products that are shipping now; and equity crowdfunding, which allows backers to buy shares in the company running the campaign.
