This August, Arcane Wonders will release an English version of MESAboardgames’ game about infectious disease, Viral, as part of its “Dice Tower Essentials” line.

Created by Antonio Sousa Lara (City of Spies) and Gil d’Orey (Panamax, Vintage), Viral is a game about diseases infecting a human host.  The players control the growth of their disease, hoping to mutate effectively so they can take over the host’s organs while avoiding its immune system defenses.

Arcane Wonders will premier Viral at Gen Con before releasing the game in August.

Viral is intended for 2 to 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about an hour-and-a-half.  MSRP has not been announced.
