WizKids will release two new cards games this summer:  Dungeon Hustle and Approaching Dawn:  The Witching Hours.  Both games are scheduled for August.

A fast-paced dungeon crawl is the focus of Dungeon Hustle.  Adventurers can “hustle” through dungeon rooms if they have matching symbols, but must stop when entering a different room.  Only then can they gather up the room cards they hustled through.  Along the way, they hope to gather treasures, find artifacts, and complete quests so they can reach higher levels and earn more powerful abilities.  But, while the players compete for glory, they must work together enough to defeat the monsters or all the heroes lose.

Dungeon Hustle comes with 154 cards, gold tokens, and corner tile tokens.  The game is designed for 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about an hour.  MSRP is $24.99.

Approaching Dawn:  The Witching Hours is a cooperative card game featuring a coven of witches who must use black and white magic in the right combination to complete the goals of each “scene.”  Care must be taken, as black magic generates “corruption” for the entire coven, but may be crucial to completing the scene.

This game includes over 200 cards, black and white magic cubes, tokens, gems, and witch mats.  Approaching Dawn:  The Witching Hours was designed for 3 to 6 players, ages 12 and up, and takes about two hours to play.  MSRP is $59.99.

August will also see the release of another WizKids game that features cooperative elements, Sidereal Confluence (see “Cooperate to Compete in ‘Sidereal Confluence’”).
