Sales of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game, recently released by Jasco, have been booming, with three printings sold out at the publisher level and a fourth on the way, a company spokesperson told ICv2 at GAMA Trade Show. The new game (see "'Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game'"), which retailers for $39.99, is hitting a sweet spot due to the recently observed 20th anniversary of the property and the perennial popularity of the property.
The four print runs have totaled 20,000 copies, the publisher told us, a robust quantity for such a short period.
